After a horrible stage 3 Roberto Ferrari has proven he’s got the chops to sprint with the best. Watching the last 3km it is clear these guys are flying! Keep in mind for the final sprint they are moving at around 75km an hour! Cavendish loses his leadout, Geraint Thomas, on a right right hand corner, Ferrari kicks it into high gear early and takes the win. When criticized for being allowed to remain in the Giro Ferrari responded, “I’m thankful for the jury to allow me to race. It was my fault, but I didn’t do it on purpose.”
