I am a big fan of Terry Pratchett, he is a brilliant author and unfortunately ill with alzheimer’s. Mr. Pratchett is fighting for the right to die at a time of his own choosing. Before his mind has deteriorated to the point where he can no longer think for himself, he would like to choose when he goes. What is amazing in this video are the people. We meet Andrew Colgan, who had MS and chose to die, and this couple who allow Mr. Pratchett to accompany them as the husband, Peter Smedley commits suicide with the help of a Swiss organization Dignitas. Peter accepts his demise with grace and dignity. We should all be so brave.
