Cross Country Cycling Thanks

I decided I needed to include a page of thanks. I really am grateful for this amazing opportunity and it isn’t like I’m doing this all on my own. Zuimei needs to be thanked first. He calls me everyday to make sure I am okay and to tell me to “take it easy.” Like that is going to happen. His support means more than I think he realizes.

Thanks to my father, supplier of the funds that made this trip possible. Teacher of Canadian history that makes me appreciate this all the more and a constant reminder of my proud heritage. Thanks Dad.

Thank you to my sister’s Nicole and Renee who are going to join me later in Quebec and Ontario. I have been alternating who I call between my father and my sisters so that someone always knows where I am, in case… Well, just in case.

Thanks to Betty for allowing me to crash with her and Dad for a few days. Making sure I am well fed and worrying about me. Bonnie and Ian, for allowing me to stay for WAY too long in Calgary just so I could go to CM. Jim, for giving me the tour of CM and making sure I spoke to everyone.

Thanks Tim and Victor for taking care of our place while we are gone. I anticipate my plants will be healthier than ever!

To Brian and Jennifer in Admiral, SK. For giving me a ride to Swift Current in my time of need and making sure I had everything I needed. And to Leslie for the ride into Brandon.

Thanks to everyone who has sent me words and notes of encouragement. It means a lot to know that people are rooting for you somewhere. For that I am truely grateful.
